What events are coming up?
- Thursday October 15th 7pm - Brewery Visit. Allgates Brewery (Allgates is close to Wigan Railway Station)Train Times Here. Walking directions here. (Turn down the alleyway between the Post Office and Last Orders) The cost is £10 per head and includes pie and peas after the tour as well as all the beer you can drink in 2 and a quarter hours!!! The tour of the brewery is optional, depending on whether you can still stand up!!!
- Saturday 17th October 1.30 pm - Mersey Tunnel Tour Cost £5 per person. Need to wear old clothing as it can be quite dirty, be prepared to walk up and down steps (so wear comfortable shoes) and be able to cope in the semi-dark. The tunnel can also get quite cold. The tour lasts between 2-3 hours.
- Saturday 21st November BBC Manchester Studio Tours. 1.30pm. Cost £5.50. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and it includes learning how television and radio programmes are made, see the ‘North West Tonight' Studio as well as having a go at presenting the weather and starring in our very own radio drama!
